Fairy Tale Important Observations and Listening to Others

This is a observation and my opinion of Fairy Tale Phase.

    1) Many frustrations of others unable to complete adventures ! LoL sorry to laugh, it is because they are simply very hard. I would Not Change a thing .. BB_Devs ... my hats off to all of you!!

    2) Difficulty- The adventures are way advanced- Beautifully done, i am impressed.

    3) Experience- Perfectly fitting.

    4) Loot- Would add the other stuff in them as well... Granite et al' -therefore i give this one a Failure.

    5) Prep- Maybe tooo much, i am still working on figures, i've only one of them completely done, you may look at it here-
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...PWC1CMXc#gid=0
    • Time takes to make troops to do 1 of the new adventures.
    • Troop Sends and Loss's too high for 1 player.

    6) Suggestion to fix item (5) is simple...
    • Expand the adventures to 3 people.

Note: Please observe the pic below, if you should split troop counts and loss into 1/3, the disastrous troop loss, lessens by far, and appearances would be more inviting for the findings I've published. I hesitate to go further, except for the fact that the Simulator needs to be trained and the endless hours of Asipak's hard work... is commendable in greatness's achieved so quickly for an MMO.

My work done so far for this Test phase may be observed here: http://forum.tsotesting.com/threads/...ry-Tale-Guides

I'm tired today and probably going to chill lolol ... it is hard training a simulator, it takes hours and hours and hours !!! Do any of you realize this!
How in the world did he get all those other adventures done is crazy for me now just thinking of it, now that I've actually been doing it... dang..

Well, there was always going to be SOMEONE who liked it.

But please explain how just producing thousands of troops and sending them to the slaughter is a challenge

Please explain where the fun/challenge is in producing over 1000 elite soldiers. Note that producing 1000 elites takes 50 hours of production of a BUFFED level 5 barracks. 2 days just spent building troops and you haven't even reached the requisite number yet, let alone made the other troops who are saluting as they are about to die...

Let's say you do have 3 players, you still need over 400 elites if this guide is to be believed, which is 20 hours of buffed production time. And I shudder to think how long it would take to forge 10,000 damas swords!

I have to agree. There is no 'challenge here' since the cost and reward do not equate.

The only reason you send something out to die is hope that the RNG favors you for a good loot drop.

Take Stealing from the Riches or the Dark Brotherhood. See those adventures have 'chances of getting White Castle or Witch Tower (best population building in the game).

Now I wouldn't mind sending my guys out to die for a chance at getting the best tower in the game. It's like in other games. "Warcraft or whatever. Diablo or such."
People play so they can grind for the "best in slot".
Currently these rewards offer worst in slot loot. Residence that takes up 5 nobles (no upgrade and gives only 140 pop). that's terrible.
Gold tower that doesn't give a good return rate. Better to sell wheat. or make brew and sell in provision house.

Why do people do things? Because the LOOT/REWARD is worth doing. If you're just sending stuff out to die- you're better off selling all the weapons and bread to another player and make more money in gold. (obviously XP is worthless)

The biggest problem with the Magic Castle is that you have to upgrade it to make it useful.
At the end of the day it's a decoration building.

Decoration buildings are neat and all when you have space on your island. and the fact that you can 'pack it up and put it back into your star menu and trade it off or save it later if you feel like unpacking it.
With the magic castle, after you've upgraded it to 5. and spending all those beans to do it. would you really want to pack it up so it goes back to 1 next time you unpack it? Knowing this information would you even want to buy a magic castle or upgrade it??

I just ended the first fairy tales adventure too....

A nightmare worse then Secluded experiments, an adventure no player in his right mind will do....
And this was the first adventure, where all the camps where so called "easy".
What would the rest cost in troops, I dont even want to think about that.....

    and for what???

    100 beans.....(Really guys a 100???)
An follow up adventure (in my case: the sons of the litle tailor)
and 76.790 XP (really usefull for high level players like all those lvl 50 players waiting for new levels....NOT !!!)
The lootmail further said "This calls for a feast" (Sorry but here I had to laugh soo really hard that I almost got sick...)

A 100 beans in return for the cost in troops is insane, then to think I would have to do 500 of these insane adventures in costs and troops for the Fairytale castle, numerous more to upgrade that castle to level 5 and all I get then is having to do even more insane adventures for beanstalkproduction...wich only buy me some towers wich create 1 goldbar every 50 or so minutes...not even a goldcoin...no just a goldbar.... (and what would i do with beanstalks after I got all 3 towers?)
More interesting are the quartermaster generals, but then i still would have to do 250 crazy adventures to get enough beans for 1 of those.
The big houses seem nice, but are way to big for my island, I would not have room for even 1 of those.

    Then 76.790XP.....

    What where you thinking guys?
Lets annoy those level 50 players, who didnt give up yet, another time?
This was ment for high level players isnt it?
for high level players under level 50 then .................. this where more and more players are hitting the lvl 50 and are losing interresse in this game, this fairy tale thing could be something just for those players, but then dont annoy them by giving them useless XP........ or so damn few beans for that matter....

A very high cost for a very small reward, wich in an economy based game as this will not do well i fear....

I thank you for the opportunity to test this adventure, and my conclusion at this moment is that its a waste of time to do this in my (level50) life game.....
And thats a pitty for all the work wich has been put in to it....... So please have a good look at the lootreward iff you guys want to make this whole thing a succes....

BTW: Please change the easy tags on the camps in this adventure, there is not 1 easy camp on the map.....

Why do most people miss the fact that the loot isn't going to be just a few beans, but rather that they have not yet put in the rest of the loot. Stop harping on that and evalute the adventure itself.

Bravo. You've basically have covered everything that I have been complaining about as well!! I hope BB developers are listening to the BB CMs providing these feedbacks. I definitely know the BB CMs are reading the forum now. They have confirmed that they do read our postings.

Now it's a matter of time for the developers to do their part and make these changes to make the players happy.

Otherwise if this gets released on to live. I am going to be very depressed. Seriously depressed as I have invested real money into buying Gem pit. and waiting for it to pay out so I can buy more pits. I've been playing this game for 2 years now and forked out money for gems. and hoping that this game gets better and better over time. But so far in the past months, I'm worried. I'm afraid to max out my levels because all the things they're doing for high level players is punish us.

Please give me a reason to level up!

He's not just harping on the loot. He's concerned about the Items that you can buy with the Beans. Basically he's saying the stuff you buy with Beans sucks.
I have no doubt they'll fix the loots table from the adventures. but the new content (buildings) need a major overhaul. And they have not acknowledged that yet.
So far they have only acknowledged that the loot will be changed.
