4x it's just for event items
2x it's for normal loot
Prolonged search normally has 2 slots, his trait is "+100%".
So it has to be 4 slots.
Short search normally has 2 slots and he finds 4.
Normal explorer
Short: 2 slots
Medium: 1 slot
Long: 1 slot
Very long: 1 slot
Prolonged: 2 slots
Snowy explorer
Short: 4 slots
Medium: 2 slots
Long: 2 slots
Very long: 2 slots
Prolonged: 2 slots
I did in fact get 4 slots from prolonged search few days ago when I tried, think it was 24+40+40+40
